Litigation Associate (Medical/Science Background) – Global Am Law Firm
About the Position: Our client, a top Am Law 50 firm with a large and established Chicago office, is actively seeking an attorney with product liability experience involving pharma/medical devices to join as a litigation associate in Chicago. This firm has one of the largest and most sophisticated teams of disputes lawyers globally, including a local presence in over 40 countries.
This is an excellent opportunity to grow your experience at an elite Am Law firm and handle substantive and important matters.
- Draft and review discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda
- Assist with fact development and depositions
- Develop case strategy
- 3+ years of product liability and/or complex commercial litigation experience, particularly involving pharmaceutical/medical devices
- Strong experience writing briefs, including Rule 702 of the Federal Rules of Evidence and Daubert issues
- Large law firm experience (Am Law 100 background preferred)
- Excellent academic credentials and writing skills
Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Compensation: The anticipated base compensation for this position is $250,000 – $370,000.
