Tax Transactions Associate (3-5 yrs) – Am Law 50 Firm

About the Position: Our client, a prestigious international law firm, has an active need for a tax transactional lawyer to join its tax practice in Chicago. The firm’s tax practice focuses on all aspects of US and UK tax law and advises on thousands of transactions annually across a variety of sectors, including technology, life sciences, energy, telecommunications and real estate.

Responsibilities:

• Advise clients on tax structuring and other aspects of domestic and cross-border business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, international transactions, capital markets, and joint ventures

Required Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of tax transactional experience, including advising on M&A, capital markets and/or international transactions
• LLM in Taxation preferred
• Excellent academic credentials

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation: The anticipated base salary for this position is $260,000 – $365,000.
