About the Position: Our client, a prominent Am Law 50 firm, has an active need for a real estate attorney (3-5 years of experience) to join its market-leading practice as an associate in Chicago. This practice has earned numerous accolades for its work in the real estate industry and attorneys in this practice represent national and multinational companies, lenders, developers, and institutional lenders in a full range of real estate matters.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients with real estate joint ventures, including development and strategic or platform joint ventures
• Draft and negotiate documents involving the purchase, sale, leasing and development of real estate
• Advise clients on all aspects of structuring real estate investment and development portfolios

Required Qualifications:

• 3 or more years of real estate law experience, including purchase and sale, joint venture and financing transactions
• Excellent negotiating, analytical and writing skills

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $260,000 – $365,000.
