Nelson Mullins, an Am Law 100 law firm, is looking for a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its litigation team in the Chicago office. This is a unique opportunity to join an expanding practice that offers a range of litigation services to clients in a variety of industries.

A Day in the Life

You'll be joining a growing and dynamic team situated in the heart of the Windy City. Our Chicago office provides a veteran litigation team focused on commercial litigation, product liability, securities, trade secret and bankruptcy matters. The team also offers clients a strong presence in the energy, aerospace, automobile and life science industries. Chicago holds a large manufacturing footprint, is home to more than 40 national medical and health associations and boasts a growing information technology sector.

The largest city in the Midwest is the ideal location for firm attorneys to provide clients with experienced counsel on their litigation needs.

We Know You

You have between 3 to 5 years of meaningful experience in product liability, commercial litigation, and other complex litigation matters. You're prepared to draft and argue discovery and other motions, take and defend depositions, manage document productions, and bring an entrepreneurial spirit to a growing office. You possess exceptional oral and written advocacy skills with strong academic credentials. You are adept in case management, ready to take the lead, and are admitted to and in good standing with the Illinois Bar.

* At Nelson Mullins, we are dedicated to transparent and fair compensation practices. Pay for this position is determined by factors such as experience, skills, and location.

* In Illinois, the salary/wage range is $230,000 - $270,000 annually. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for performance bonuses and benefits such as healthcare, retirement plans, and paid time off.
