Corporate Counsels at Spot Hero:
As Corporate Counsel, you'll be a key member of our Legal team and serve as the go-to partner for commercial contract work: negotiating, drafting and managing agreements across our operator partner, strategic partner, vendor and other relationships. You'll collaborate closely with our teams in Business Development, Revenue, Engineering, Product and Finance to ensure our commercial arrangements are efficient, well-structured and aligned with Spot Hero's growth and risk-management goals.
What You'll Do
* Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial contracts (vendor services, SaaS/technology licensing, data privacy & cybersecurity, AI, operator/partner deals, marketing & promotional agreements, NDAs)
* Partner with internal stakeholders to identify, evaluate and manage legal and business risks in contracts while enabling business momentum
* Develop and maintain contract systems, templates, playbooks and workflows that enhance efficiency and consistency across the contract lifecycle
* Work directly with the General Counsel, gaining exposure to corporate governance, M&A, regulatory matters and broader legal strategy
* Work with Business Development, Revenue, Product, Engineering and Finance teams to support strategic initiatives and enable scaling of our commercial operations
* Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements and internal policies
* Contribute to broader Legal team initiatives, including governance, policy development and continuous process improvement
* Take on stretch assignments that build your leadership and judgment capabilities
* Develop the skills and experience needed to advance within Spot Hero's Legal function as we scale

What You Bring
* J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
* Minimum of 3-5 years' experience (law firm and/or in-house) handling corporate and commercial contract drafting, negotiation and management-preferably involving technology, marketplace, SaaS or mobility concepts
