Senior Tax Associate - Lead Complex Transactions

Our client, a full-service, commercial law firm headquartered in Chicago, seeks a Tax Attorney at the Junior Partner / Senior Associate level to join its Tax Practice Group. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy tax team that is influential and respected within the larger corporate group and the firm as a whole. The successful candidate will be afforded tremendous resources to grow her/his skill set, contacts and client base.

• J.D Year 2011 or senior
• Excellent academic credentials
• Strong legal training from a regarded law firm
• Experience with complex transactional tax issues, particularly those related to to pass-through tax entities. Expertise with Subchapter K and S Corps. Working knowledge of complex real estate transactions, international tax issues and tax-free reorganizations. SALT familiarity helpful.
• LL.M degree beneficial but not mandatory,
• Significant interest in developing into a leader and contributor to the practice.
