Associate Attorney – Real Estate Finance

Our client, a business-focused law firm serving clients of all sizes and industries across the United States, has an immediate need for an experienced Associate Attorney – Real Estate Finance to join their team in Chicago.

The successful candidate will work closely with shareholders and participate in business development and client-facing activities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:

• 3-5 years of real estate finance experience representing lenders and investors in permanent, construction, and mezzanine loan transactions, ideally involving commercial, healthcare, auto, office, multifamily, retail, and industrial properties.
• Experience closing acquisitions and dispositions, and negotiating commercial leases (office, retail, warehouse, and industrial).
• Ability to work effectively both as part of a team and independently in a fast-paced, intellectually challenging environment.
• J.D. degree with strong academic credentials; admitted or in the process of becoming admitted in Illinois.
