Our client, a premier AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join their Regulatory Investigations, Strategy + Enforcement (RISE) Practice Group. This is an extraordinary opportunity to work directly with State Attorneys General and handle sophisticated regulatory enforcement matters, high‑impact multistate investigations, and complex litigation within one of the country’s most respected regulatory practices.

Candidate Profile
  • JD from a top‑tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Active Bar Admission in the applicable jurisdiction, in good standing.
  • 3–6 years of substantive experience in investigations, enforcement, and/or regulatory litigation.
  • Experience working with State Attorneys General, including responding to civil investigative demands (CIDs) and coordinating multistate investigations.
  • Prior experience in a State AG office strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate resolutions and advise clients on complex enforcement matters.
  • Strong writing skills with a demonstrated publication record or clear aptitude for thought leadership.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to maintain and build relationships with State AG offices.
  • Exceptional analytical ability, judgment, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to CIDs and other regulatory inquiries.
  • Coordinate and participate in multistate investigations involving State AG offices.
  • Negotiate resolutions to complex regulatory enforcement matters.
  • Represent clients in related litigation, investigations, and internal reviews.
  • Provide strategic, business‑oriented guidance on regulatory risk and enforcement exposure.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and firm leadership to support client development initiatives.
  • Deepen and maintain relationships with State AG offices to support strategic business development for the practice.
  • Develop thought leadership content, including articles, insights, and analysis on emerging regulatory trends.

Compensation & Benefits
