About the Position: Our client, a prestigious Am Law 50 firm, has an active need for an intellectual property litigator (or commercial litigator with federal court background and desire to focus on IP matters) to join as a mid or senior-level associate in its Chicago office. This practice boasts IP litigators and dispute resolution professionals in more than 30 countries handling a range of matters, including copyright, trademark, patent, design, trade secret, and unfair competition litigation, as well as ADR procedures, and domain name disputes.

Attorneys in this group also run global and regional IP enforcement programs for major Hollywood studios, luxury and fashion brands, pharma companies and technology leaders.

• Handle all phases of litigation relating to trademark, copyright, trade secrets and patent disputes, from pre-litigation counseling and claim assessment through discovery and trial
• Draft pleadings, manage discovery (including large e-discovery projects), take and defend depositions, and handle trial preparation

• 4-7 years of IP litigation experience relating to trademark, copyright, trade secrets and patent disputes strongly preferred
• A strong federal court commercial litigation background and interest in focusing on tech/IP disputes will be considered
• Excellent academic credentials

Chicago, IL (Hybrid)

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $310,000 to $420,000.
