Estate Planning Attorney
We are currently seeking a dynamic and highly-qualified Estate Planning Attorney to join our prestigious legal team. This role is designed for a seasoned professional with expertise in estate planning, tax law, and trusts. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering exceptional service to clients, demonstrating the ability to handle complex estate planning matters, and providing guidance and counsel on tax implications.
BasePay Range
$90,000.00 - $ per year.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive estate planning services to clients, including drafting and implementing wills, powers of attorney, revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, and other estate planning instruments.
- Advise clients on gift tax, estate tax, and other tax-related issues, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws.
- Manage all aspects of probate and trust administration, including court filings, asset distributions, and tax filings.
- Collaborate with accountants, financial advisors, and other professionals to develop comprehensive estate plans that meet clients' financial and personal goals.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in estate planning and tax laws to provide the most current and effective advice to clients.
- Represent clients in probate court proceedings, if necessary.
- Participate in client development and networking activities to grow the firm's estate planning practice.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in estate planning, with a focus on wills, trusts, power of attorney, gift tax, and estate tax.
- Current license to practice law in the state.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in legal research and the ability to interpret complex legal documents.
- Demonstrated ability to handle a high caseload and juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
- Strong commitment to ethics and client confidentiality.
- A proven track record of success in estate planning, demonstrating the ability to develop and implement comprehensive estate plans that meet clients' needs and goals.
- Experience in probate court proceedings is a plus.
