** The Opportunity
** The Logistics Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of domestic and international shipments, ensuring the timely and compliant movement of products while supporting supply chain, operations, purchasing, and customs compliance activities.
** What You’ll Work On
*** Coordinate and manage domestic and international shipments via air, ocean, ground, parcel, and expedited transportation providers.
* Ensure shipments are processed, tracked, traced, and delivered on time while addressing transportation exceptions and delays.
* Prepare and maintain all required shipping documentation, including export documentation, AES filings, customs paperwork, and Dangerous Goods documentation.
* Schedule carrier pickups and manage transportation providers to ensure service and delivery requirements are met.
* Monitor inbound and outbound shipments, investigate delivery issues, file claims, and resolve shipment discrepancies.
* Partner with Customs Compliance teams to ensure adherence to U.S. export regulations, record-keeping requirements, and trade compliance standards.
* Generate transportation and logistics reports, analyze shipping costs, and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
* Support logistics projects, supplier coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives that align with divisional and corporate objectives.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide timely communication and effective resolution of logistics-related issues.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation to support regulatory compliance, audits, and quality standards.
* Provide after-hours support for critical or emergency shipments as needed.
* Experience coordinating domestic and international transportation and logistics operations.
