Global Supply Chain Manager

Secret clearance

Behind every “can’t fail” mission is a supplier who delivered. You’re the one who makes sure they do. A radar program is racing toward a milestone. A critical RF component is running behind. A subcontract worth millions sits at the center of it all, with compliance clauses to honor, a supplier to negotiate with, and a program manager waiting on answers.

Your team is already working the problem.

A critical RF component is running behind. A subcontract worth millions sits at the center of it all, with compliance clauses to honor, a supplier to negotiate with, and a program manager waiting on answers.

Your team is already working the problem. You step in, align the stakeholders, and turn a risk into a plan. The mission stays on schedule because the supply chain behind it held. That’s a day in the life of a Manager, Global Supply Chain at Leidos.

At Leidos, we deliver innovative solutions through the efforts of our diverse and talented people, who are dedicated to our customers’ success. We empower our teams, contribute to our communities, and operate sustainably. Everything we do is built on a commitment to do the right thing for our customers, our people, and our community. Leidos’ Defense Sector is seeking a Global Supply Chain Manager to join our team. Occasional travel may be required for in-person engagements with internal customers and suppliers across multiple Leidos sites. This high-impact role reports directly to the Director, Global Supply Chain, and serves as an integrated member of the Defense Contracts and Supply Chain organization.

You’ll manage a team of Subcontracts professionals, provide strategic leadership, and act as a key interface between Leidos management and senior Contracts and Global Supply Chain management. You’ll serve as the primary liaison between subcontractors and multiple programs, contractually managing agreements of various types, typically of high dollar value, risk, and complexity. This role is ideal for a strategic supply chain leader who thrives in complex, government-regulated environments and understands how supplier ecosystems support mission-critical defense objectives.

You’ll collaborate closely with Contracts, Program Management, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Manufacturing, Growth, and Business Development, among others, to ensure the successful execution of your assigned portfolio. In addition to leading the team, you may have the opportunity to directly manage subcontracts on select programs when needed or help with special projects and corporate initiatives. You’ll align subcontract outcomes with program, business area, and sector objectives, communicate effectively, manage your time efficiently, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines with minimal supervision, and bring acute attention to detail.

The ideal candidate is adaptable, capable of working independently, and willing to go beyond to ensure the success of both their team and their individual contributions.
