We are looking for a Performance Director to lead all aspects of our Sales Development Representatives (SDR) organization’s performance, strategies and initiatives. This highly visible team plays a key role in our overall demand generation efforts, partnering closely with both our global marketing organization and our multi-segment sales organization.

The Performance Director will be responsible for developing and implementing performance standards, monitoring the efficiency of these strategies and making vital adjustments to optimize results.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales performance management principles, exceptional leadership skills, and a strategic approach.

This leadership role will interact with senior management across the global organization to ensure we are delivering the best outbound prospecting strategy and the best conversion rate on inbound opportunities.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and maintain an outbound prospecting strategy to consistently and predictably achieve organization targets and advise senior management on forecasted results.
  • Partner with Global Marketing and Sales on campaign strategy and messaging to consistently deliver our ambitious growth targets.
  • Synchronize with Sales Leaders across global points of sale for targeted account engagement.
  • Develop and implement performance management strategies and systems.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
  • Prepare and present performance reports to top management.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure performance alignment.
  • Identify training needs and organize workshops or coaching sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and organizational standards.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to performance teams.
  • Stay informed about performance trends and advancements in the corporate travel industry.
  • Grow the Sales Development team by hiring, and optimizing the onboarding process to increase time to productivity.
  • What We´re Looking for:

  • At least 10 years proven experience in business to business sales, preferably in software-as-a-solution, service or consulting industry.
  • Expertise in Sales development tools and technologies such as Sales Force, Orum, 6

    Sense, Linked In Sales Navigator, Outreach and other sequencing processes.
  • Proficient knowledge of performance management principles and methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record in managing and directing a highly skilled, motivated and successful results-orientated team - you will be leading a large team, globally.
  • Fervent understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and your strong change management skills.
  • History of coordinating with peers in other teams for overall success of the organization.
  • Ability to hire, onboard, and upskill new talent and identify opportunities of career growth within the organization.

    The US national annual base salary range for this position is from $100,000 to $200,000. The national range provided includes the base salary that GBT expects to pay for the role. Actual base salary will be based on factors including the scope and complexity of the role and the successful candidate’s relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and work location.

    In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Award plan, which rewards participants based on company and individual performance and is also eligible for awards under the company Equity Incentive Plan, which is designed to align participants' interests with those of shareholders.
