As a Manager, of Carrier Sales, you will lead an operations team. You will be responsible for leading a team of experienced operations professionals. You will be partnering with customers for points of escalation and be a strategic leader to our operations division.

WHAT YOU GET TO DO
  • Effectively manage a team of carrier sales reps with varying levels of experience to strategically develop relationships with existing and prospective carriers
  • Become an expert on the Loadsmart business model, our competitive advantages and our technology stack
  • Lead, coach, and mentor carrier sales representatives on your team to ensure company expectations and individual goals are met
  • Strengthen your reps’ knowledge of the market and assist with pricing and rate negotiations as needed
  • Collaborate with carrier sales management and Loadsmart leadership to ensure your entire sales team is meeting expectations
  • Bring the energy, intensity and the secure-the-bag attitude to the sales floor
  • Develop and optimize team processes by taking strategic ideas and breaking them into actionable items with aggressive timelines for completion
  • Conduct performance reviews in order to set your representatives up for success and ensure individual goals are being met and exceeded
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS and EXPECTATIONS
  • 5+ years in truckload brokerage
  • 1 year of management experience, preferred
  • Deep knowledge of truckload carrier operations and practices
  • Deep knowledge of truckload market dynamics and pricing
  • Practical understanding of TMS Software Strong experience with truckload freight and relationships with carriers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • A dynamic leader with a bold presence and a charismatic attitude

$85,000 - $100,000 a year

The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, the candidate’s experience and expertise. In addition to your base compensation offer, you will also receive stock options and benefits listed below.
