The Strategic Marketing Manager is responsible for shaping and executing market strategies that drive growth and competitive advantage across key market segments. This role leverages market insights to define segment strategies and identify opportunities to build a robust pipeline of innovations aligned with customer needs and business objectives. Acting as a strategic leader, the manager will guide the organization in deploying segment‑specific strategies and ensure prioritization of high‑impact projects that deliver on organizational and segment specific strategies.
The position serves as a link between market intelligence, innovation development, and commercial execution, enabling the business to anticipate trends, respond to competitive dynamics, and deliver differentiated solutions.
- Marketing
- Develop and/or deliver a plan for significant aspects of a product, service, or marketing area under guidance from senior colleagues.
- Marketing Impact Assessment
- Support the collection of data and participate in reviews of marketing activities to identify opportunities for improvements.
- Data Collection and Analysis
- Conduct research using primary data sources, and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.
- Portfolio Management
- Plan and deliver projects or work streams, using an appropriate project management methodology to give assurance that intended outcomes are achieved.
- Product and Solution Development
- Define and deliver products and services that meet customer needs by selecting the best possible approaches available within established systems.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Contribute to stakeholder engagement by identifying stakeholders; by finding out their needs, issues, and concerns; and by reacting to these needs, issues, and concerns, arranging meetings and events and drafting supporting materials to promote understanding and commitment.
- Personal Capability Building
- Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to improve performance and fulfill personal potential. Maintain an in‑depth understanding of technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
- Market Segmentation and Strategy Development
- Develop strategy for market segments and communicate and implement the strategy. Continuously refine and adjust strategy based on market intelligence and learnings.
- Identify key market insights to drive pipeline of NPD products.
- Generate insights and collaborate with key customers to identify opportunity areas in the core market spaces.
- Support NPD prioritization based on market needs and support head of marketing and product management with rationale and NPD strategy.
- Drive value proposition development for external and internal knowledge to lead to more effective sales communication.
- Collateral development to lead to more effective communication channels and enhanced value of Mono Sol externally‑Support marketing communications with brand development and execution of this collateral.
- Insights and recommendations based on consumer data and market reporting.
- Develop and implement market strategies to drive product positioning, growth, and adoption, ensuring continuous refinement based on performance metrics and market trends.
- Develop KPIs to assess and track how the strategy has developed and if revisions are needed on an ongoing basis.
- Cross‑functional collaboration with R&D to convey market needs into actionable developments for the organization.
- Support financial analysis for new product developments and assess go‑to‑market strategy for new innovations.
- Collaborate with R&D to translate market needs into actionable development priorities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Management, Finance or Engineering required, MBA preferred.
