Overview
Join as AVP, National Sales Manager – Beacon Capital Management at Sammons Financial Group Companies. This role leads wholesaling teams, drives national sales, and builds distribution partnerships.
Responsibilities- Lead the wholesale team: manage training, coaching, development, and performance.
- Drive execution and oversight of national sales activities, including extensive travel to advisor forums.
- Strategic planning: develop product, marketing, and distribution partnership strategy in collaboration with leadership.
- Set and track goals for direct reports, provide coaching, and create development plans.
- Provide ongoing training via weekly 1:1 calls, in-field visits, sales meetings, and call coaching.
- Hire and onboard new wholesalers as needed.
- Engage external distribution partners and sales leadership to solicit feedback and identify collaboration opportunities.
- Partner with Marketing Communications to develop promotional and educational campaigns.
- Present training sessions, virtual conference sessions, and onboarding materials.
- Represent the company at industry functions, training meetings, and speak to groups.
- Prepare detailed, time-sensitive progress reports on regional activity and sales objectives.
- Collaborate with other leaders and departments to achieve goals and facilitate communication.
- Promote a high-performance, motivated team environment; drive internal controls and compliance.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of financial wholesale experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial products and services; accounting and budgeting processes.
- Strong people and project management skills; ability to motivate staff.
- Proven interpersonal skills, collaboration, and organization skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication, public speaking, and problem solving.
- Professional maturity to interface with Senior Management.
- Strategic planning and marketing plan execution experience.
- FINRA Series 65, 7, and 24 required or ability to obtain within 180 days.
- Must travel a minimum of 50% of the time.
- Credit and criminal background check required as part of financial nature and accountability.
- Fingerprinting and securities license background check may be required.
- Subject to SEC compliance program and personal securities transaction monitoring.

USD $125,000 - $150,000 Flat base salary + Sales Incentive.
