The roleAs our Director in Revenue Management (RM) expertise, you will be a senior expertise leader responsible for externally representing our Revenue Management expertise with top US clients and internally pushing our consultative transformation in the field of Revenue Management across the entire US region. You will help guide one of SKIM’s highest‑impact capabilities, and work alongside a team of RM specialists who are recognized for setting the standard in the industry.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Partner with our top 2–3 RM clients to proactively uncover client needs beyond traditional research.
- Broaden conversations beyond pricing into areas such as brand equity, pack‑price architecture, channel strategy, promo effectiveness, and portfolio management.
- Be the bridge between client‑side strategy and research expertise.
- Lead strategic discussions, workshops, and masterclasses.
- Connect SKIM’s deliverables to external RM stakeholders’ needs.
- Collaborate with commercial and account leads to identify new opportunities by connecting insights across projects.
- Collaborate with SKIM’s Global RM expertise team, sharing insights and shaping best practices across regions.
- Guide/support teams on proposals, client conversations, and strategic delivery.
- Spread client‑side context and commercial thinking across the broader team.
- Mentor staff across levels to strengthen SKIM’s next generation of RM experts.
We know every individual’s strengths look different. These are the essentials for success in this role:
- 8–10 years of professional experience, of which 5+ years of hands‑on Revenue Management experience (ideally client‑side).
- Strong experience analyzing sales data, internal financials, promo performance, pack‑price architecture, and mix management.
- Ability to engage CMOs, VPs, and Brand Directors in high‑stakes strategic conversations.
- A collaborative approach with the ability to mentor, guide, and elevate teams (formal management experience a plus).
- You are authorized to work in the United States (resident, citizen, valid visa, or other).
- You live within commuting distance of Hoboken, NJ, or Chicago, IL, with 40% expected in‑office work.
- Experience in CPG or technology; healthcare/pharma exposure.
- Experience with the role of consumer insights in Revenue Management and value‑based‑pricing.
- Annual base salary range: $140,000–$180,000 (USD). This range covers both our Chicago, IL and Hoboken, NJ offices.
