Who They Are
We've partnered with a service-driven, quality-focused provider of high-performance curtain wall, storefront, and glazing systems that's looking for a Project Manager to oversee glazing initiatives.

What You'll Do

  • Manage all phases of glazing and exterior system projects—from pre-construction, budgeting, and scheduling to procurement, execution, and closeout
  • Review project scope, contracts, specifications, and construction documents to ensure alignment with client expectations and design intent
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, general contractors, vendors, and field teams to maintain seamless execution and communication
  • Lead procurement processes, including sourcing, purchasing, and managing deliveries of curtain wall, storefront systems, aluminum entrances, and composite cladding
  • Oversee shop drawing review and submittal coordination; manage RFIs, change orders, and quality control procedures
  • Monitor budgets, billing, invoicing, and earned value metrics to track project performance
  • Supervise site activities, ensuring timelines, quality standards, safety, and code compliance are consistently met
  • Manage project closeout documentation, including punch lists, inspections, and final handoffs to clients
What You'll Need
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in architectural glazing, curtain wall, metal panel, or storefront systems—ideally within commercial construction
  • Strong technical and financial acumen (reading plans, defining scope, conducting take-offs, managing budgets, and coordinating logistics)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience engaging architects, GC teams, and field personnel
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word), project management tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project), and AutoCAD or similar drafting software
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with an ability to manage multiple project components simultaneously
  • Relevant education (e.g., Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering) a plus
  • Illinois-based or willing to commute to Chicago
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation package commensurate with experience and performance
