Our client is a growing, national CPA firm seeking a Tax Director to manage teams and client portfolios, including high-net-worth individuals, family offices, multi-entity businesses, and cross-border operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute tax strategy across complex client engagements.

• Advise on advanced planning: M&A structuring, succession planning, entity optimization, and long-term tax minimization.

• Collaborate with internal specialists and external advisors to deliver integrated solutions.

• Monitor tax legislation and provide actionable guidance.

• Ensure compliance, reporting accuracy, and strong internal controls.

• Manage and mentor a high-performing tax team.

• Support business development and client relationship growth.

• Drive process improvements and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of tax experience; CPA license or eligibility required.

• Advanced knowledge of federal, state, and local tax law.

• Proven experience with high-net-worth and complex multi-entity clients.

• Strong strategic thinking and financial acumen.

• Leadership experience managing and developing teams.

• Excellent communication skills for advising executives and clients.

• Business development and project management experience.
