The Project Manager plays a central role in delivering our projects with the excellence The Garrett Companies is known for. This position is based out of our Denver HQ.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
  • Review the project in‑depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
  • Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors
  • Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory
  • Meet contractual conditions of performance
  • Review the work progress on a daily basis
  • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
  • Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones
  • Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses
  • Analyze, manage and mitigate risks
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
  • Provide training and education to any Garrett Companies personnel as needed to ensure a successful project.
  • Act as Mentor to Project Engineers to further and assist their professional growth
Requirements
  • Previous experience managing multi‑family construction projects.
  • Relentless problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to anticipate.
Travel Requirements
  • This position is a position that a times may travel to active project sites and markets within a specified region.
