Critical Infrastructure Construction - Midwest USA Specialist

Our client is a nationally recognized EPC, specializing in high-value, technically complex mission critical projects. With a strong reputation for delivering data centers, advanced manufacturing facilities, and secure infrastructure, they are expanding their leadership team in the Midwest.

The Role

We are recruiting for an exceptional Director of Construction to lead $300M+ industrial construction projects in the midwest region. This is a strategic leadership role with full responsibility for client engagement, team leadership, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the full lifecycle of large-scale projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Manage and mentor project teams including PMs, Superintendents, Engineers, and subcontractors.
  • Oversee strategic planning, risk mitigation, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Collaborate with preconstruction, estimating, and design teams to shape project scope and execution strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
  • Champion a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Proven experience as a Project Executive or Senior Project Manager on industrial or large-scale commercial projects ($100M+).
  • Strong technical knowledge of data center infrastructure, MEP systems, and high-security environments.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive complex projects forward.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
  • PMP, LEED, or similar certifications are a plus.
