PositionPurpose
This safety‑sensitive position is responsible for the leasing and marketing functions of the property, assisting the Community Manager with overall operational and financial success while exceeding resident service standards. The position requires accompanying the Community Manager during pre‑designated office hours to ensure effective community operations.
Key Contributions- Support the Community Manager by achieving occupancy and rental goals, maintaining a closing percentage of at least 30%.
- Reach prospective residents through advertising, phone inquiries, and property tours.
- Assist in accurate preparation and administration of all leasing activities and rental traffic reports.
- Help complete market studies and assist resident management with resident relations, complaints, and rent collections.
- Supervise, motivate, and direct staff in the absence of the Community Manager to promote teamwork.
- Ensure the property is kept neat, clean, and well‑maintained with daily exterior and interior inspections.
- Guarantee the property meets and exceeds company standards for resident satisfaction, including 24‑hour emergency availability.
- Plan and participate in community activities and other assigned projects.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Ability to perform tasks involving high levels of cognitive function and judgment.
- Not mentally or physically impaired from any cause that could adversely affect performance.
- Ability to respond promptly and appropriately to operating conditions.

- Demonstrated caring, committed, and concerned attitude about safety.
- Education:
High school diploma or GED required; higher education preferred. - Experience:
2–3 years of customer service or related experience. - Physical & Cognitive:
Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 pounds. - Background:
Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen. - Driver (if applicable):
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record with company insurance carrier.
- Reliable means of transportation.
- Able to be insurable at standard rates for driving.
- Proof of personal auto liability insurance when using vehicles for company business.
