Job Description SummaryAssociate Property Managers are responsible for maintaining our communities to a market-ready standard, ensuring a high level of service at all times. They build and motivate high performing teams to maximize property performance.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIESAssisting the Regional Property Manager with the overall operations of the building.
Ensuring the smooth running of our community in a fast‑paced environment.
Overseeing all operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, collections, evictions, vacancy anticipation, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, audits, etc.
Providing superior customer service and communication to our residents and prospects to enhance satisfaction and increase renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability.
Completing lease/renewal paperwork to ensure completion to company standards.
Tracking and evaluating advertising, and all client traffic.
Leading by example, instilling, maintaining, and modeling the Cushman & Wakefield mission to be the best national management company.
Supervising day‑to‑day operations of the entire on‑site team, ensuring that all Cushman & Wakefield policies and procedures are followed.
Maintaining effective on‑site staff through interviewing, hiring, and coaching as necessary.
Maintaining residents' files in accordance with company standards.
Maintaining a positive living environment for community residents through prompt conflict resolution and consistent follow‑up.
Managing and maintaining all aspects of overall community budget and finances.
Working with leasing staff to ensure leasing/marketing goals are being met.
Effective communication and customer service skills.
Computer literate, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet navigation skills.
General office, bookkeeping and sales skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
Determining leasing opportunities for staff and setting performance goals to improve each staff member.
Supervising day‑to‑day operations of the team, ensuring that all C&W policies and procedures are followed.
Working with leasing staff to ensure leasing/marketing goals are being met.
Be able to manage a team.
Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
High School Diploma, GED, Technical or Vocational school required.
3+ years of Property Management experience.
1+ years of Management experience.
This role operates in a professional office environment and requires regular travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions. Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines are used.
PHYSICAL DEMANDSStand and walk for extended periods. Ascend/descend staircases, ladders or step stools; may need to travel outside between buildings. Remain stationary (sit or stand) for 85% of the time and regularly operate office machinery.

A competitive pay range of $34.00 – $40.00 will be offered depending on eligibility factors such as geographic location, date of hire, total hours worked, and job type.
