Senior Project Manager

About The Role:

Vokal is seeking a powerful and dynamic Senior Project Manager for our fast-growing consultancy/agency, based in our Chicago office. Our unique team blends experienced digital athletes from high-growth start-ups with experienced agency/marketing leaders to create a powerful blend of digital transformation capabilities.

As a Senior Project Manager, your daily responsibilities will center around:

Project Management:

* Maintains an intimate understanding of the Agency Workflow Process including project initiation and kickoff, collaboration, reviews, approvals/signoff's, production and archiving

* Capable of outlining a scope of work, a detailed project plan, and logistics associated to the client asks

* Understands project requirements, budgets and timelines

* Establishes, monitors and can manage production schedules

* Highlights potential trouble areas or risks associated with project elements or timelines

* Can identify risks and problems solves solutions with the team to overcome roadblocks to solutions

Communication:

* Clear, concise and confident  when communicating with clients, external partners as well as internal cross functional team members

* Great attention to detail, strong organizational acumen, ability to think through problem solving issues

* Exude a positive mindset to keep tasks and team headed in same direction forward

* Keep team members informed of any project shifts, updates, impacts to deliverables/timing

* Consistent with cadence and

* Oversees quality control on projects, including client brand standards and project creep additions

* Ensures flawless execution and handoff of client deliverables

* Demonstrates grit and curiosity to help push the work to the high standard Vokal has for delivering value to our clients

* Introduces new processes or ways of working to help the team drive to better solutions for clients

Preferred Requirements of Candidates:

* 5+  years of agency experience in project management

* Skilled in proposal and estimating processes

* Understanding of creative production process useful

* Knowledge of technology processes beneficial

* Must be able to problem solve, think on your feet and be quick to find solutions

* Working executional knowledge across digital and media platforms

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Experiential planning experience a plus
