Pay Range: $57.36 - $85.47 per hour

SummaryThe Director of Supply Chain Operations is responsible for the management of the following areas: receiving and supply distribution, Peri Op supply management, par stock supply management, and mail room functions. The Director develops and implements methods for improving operational efficiency and controlling inventory to ensure adequate operating supply levels and timely distribution. The Director acts as the System Supply Chain Operations liaison ensuring all operational practices aligh with system-wide standards and compliance requirements.
The Director develops, implements, and monitors quality assurance programs and implements change supported by results. The Director interviews, hires, schedules, and assigns work to and evaluates work performance of employees directly supervised. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Five years’ of progressively increasing management experience within areas of supply chain management and hospital operations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of supply chain management principals and concepts pertaining to receiving and advanced distribution and replenishment.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated with the ability to handle multi-tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities, prioritize daily activities, meet strict deadlines, problem solve, make independent decisions, and work well with all levels of the team.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Master's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Hospital Administration, or related field.
- Five years’ of progressively increasing management experience within areas of supply chain management and hospital operations in a healthcare environment.
- Experience in union and non-union environments.
- Experience with an ERP system.
