Field Operations Manager

We’re currently hiring on behalf of our partner - a fast-growing field and technical services provider in the B2B space, focused on vending, POS systems, and coin-operated machine solutions. To support their continued expansion, they are seeking a Field Operations Manager based in Chicago, Illinois
, to oversee day-to-day field operations and lead a regional team.

This role is a great fit for someone with a strong background in B2B sales and services, particularly to street-level retail businesses. • Lead and manage a team of field service technicians and sales reps across the Chicago area
• Oversee client services and support for existing business accounts
• Recruit, train, and manage field staff while ensuring adherence to company procedures
• Conduct location audits for service quality, stock/inventory, and marketing compliance
• Collaborate with internal departments—sales, support, and collections—to boost operational efficiency
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with local business owners and service partners
• Track and improve KPIs, team performance, and customer satisfaction
• Coordinate the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of product hardware and software
• Analyze performance data and prepare regular reports for leadership
• Answer and resolve escalated customer inquiries via phone and chat
• Maintain detailed logs and updates within the company CRM
• Manage warehouse stock control and purchasing

• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle (work-related gas, tolls, and parking fully reimbursed)
• Previous experience managing field service or technical teams
• Experience working with street-level retail or service-based small businesses
• Strong technical skills, especially with CRM tools and mobile-based applications
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
