Senior Project Manager

My client is seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager to join our growing construction team in the North Suburbs of Chicago. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing complex building projects and ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

• Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets
• Manage a team of subcontractors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success
• Monitor project progress and report regularly to senior management and clients
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure smooth project delivery
• Ensure that all work meets relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
• Oversee project budgets, resource allocation, and cost tracking to maximize efficiency

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• PMP certification or equivalent project management experience
• 7+ years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work under tight deadlines
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
• Thorough understanding of construction industry practices, regulations, and safety standards
