Candidates that have the mechanical aptitude and experience of working directly with production equipment such as conveyors, sprays, ovens, printers, etc. and know the importance of proper and timely maintenance of machinery and equipment.

• Operate console that controls automatic palletizing equipment to sort, inspect, transfer, and stack cans on pallets of various sizes.
• Constantly check the can lines for tipped or jammed cans, remove cans from line, and examine cans for obvious defects.
• Remove jammed, broken or out-of-square pallets from pallet feed and discharge mechanism.
• Remove defective cans and notify supervisor of constant defects.
• Turn selector switch on palletizer to control stacking arrangement of cans on the pallet and to transfer loaded pallet to storage or delivery platform.
• May keep record of production and equipment performance.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
• Ability to work overnights and weekends.
• Scheduled shift: four days on and four days off continuously throughout the year; twelve‑hour shifts with overtime paid after 8 hours worked.
• Exposure to moderate to high noise level.

Starting hourly base rate: $23.46 and goes up to $33.51 dependent on years of service within the company. The company also offers a Success Share Bonus that is dependent upon meeting metrics and targets. Please note that the range for the rate provided is a good faith estimate and is only applicable for roles that are based out of Illinois. The final rate will be determined after considering relevant factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and work location, where appropriate.
