Assistant Machine Operator - Day Shift

Shift: 7 AM - 7:15 PM

• Safe, controlled start-up and operation of the cast line equipment.
• Inspect and measure completed pieces to verify conformity to customer production standards.
• Monitor and adjust controls to ensure product complies with production standards.
• Coaching and mentoring assistants and helpers by providing clear instructions.
• Maintain equipment through preventative maintenance tasks and minor repairs as required.
• Record quality and production metrics via written communication methods within time deadlines.
• Perform all work in a safety-first mentality with utilization of IPS lean manufacturing skills.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• 2+ Years in a Manufacturing Environment required.
• Intermediate math skills and English written communication skills necessary.
• General computer knowledge and experience handling paperwork.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours at a time.
• Ability to work in a space-limited work area on a continuous basis.
• Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis.
• Ability to perform the physical aspects of the role following recommended practices, with an emphasis on safety and injury prevention.
