Job Title: CNC Operator

First shift 6am-2:30pm Monday-Friday with overtime!

Second shift 2:15pm-10:45pm Monday-Friday with overtime!

• Operate CNC machines, mills, and robots.
• Perform tool and insert changes.
• Follow written instructions and check parts for conformance to blueprints.
• Monitor machine performance and adjust as needed.
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
• Perform basic maintenance on CNC machines.
• Work from process sheets, blueprints, setup sheets, setup cards, and machine status boards.
• Collaborate with supervisors, programmers, and support teams to resolve problems.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

• Experience in CNC operation.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and other common shop measuring instruments.
• Experience with horizontal lathe or mill setup.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Experience with Okuma or Nakamura lathes or mills.
• Familiarity with Fanuc Robodrills and Universal Robots.
• Experience in a precision machining environment or CNC training.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Chicago, IL.
