Position: Sorter 3rd Shift (Sunday - Thursday 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)

Summary:
Primary role is to handle sheet metal in various states of work in progress to assist in the manufacturing process.

Essential Functions:

• Sort sheet metal
• From a skeleton and place in a pile
• Collect finished sheet metal parts and place into racks
• Run full carts to the assembly stations
• Retrieve empty carts from the assembly line stations
• Count/inventory sheet metal on a needed basis
• Ability to communicate with walkie talkie in English

Qualifications/

Skills:

• Entry level position. HS diploma preferred but not required.
• Self-starter and attention to detail a must.

Safety/

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Requires bending, stooping, and standing.
• Must be able to stand from six (6) to eight (8) hours per day. (Overtime may extend time period.)
• Good visual and spatial perception.
• Follow established safety policies including, but not limited to, mobile equipment, PPE, emergency response, HAZCOM, first-aid response, etc.
