LHH is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Automation & Controls Engineer to join a leading provider of automation solutions for the poultry manufacturing industry. You’ll be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining automated systems at client sites nationwide (70% travel). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and traveling frequently. The anticipated salary for this role is between $80,000-$90,000 a year.
Responsibilities- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain automated control systems at customer facilities.
- Work with voltage and current sensors, transducers, and networking components.
- Analyze and apply electrical diagrams to complete accurate installations.
- Wire and configure low-voltage electrical panels.
- Implement communication protocols for seamless system integration.
- Maintain detailed documentation of all work performed and system configurations.
- Collaborate with clients to customize solutions and provide training.
- Experience reading electrical and control system diagrams.
- Hands-on knowledge of sensors, transducers, and automation equipment.
- Familiarity with networking and communication protocols.
- Proficiency with wiring, testing, and diagnostic instruments.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 70%.
