General Helper - 2nd shift

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• General Quality Control. Responsible for packing product that are within specifications, including size, color, shape, etc.
• Assigned to clear jams in packing/labeling/casing area.
• Produce to product specifications as specified by the customer
• Assist other general helper roles as assigned
• Maintain the area clean and safe – general housekeeping.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Commit to a continuous improvement work team environment

• Work weekends as assigned
• Other duties and/or projects assigned

SCOPE DATA:

• No direct reports
• Reports to Plant Manager/takes direction from Foreperson

WORKING RELATIONSHIP:

• Works closely with oven operator, packaging lead, quality and maintenance staff as needed, as well as other general helper positions

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Pushing, pulling, bending
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Education:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
