You’ll contribute to the success of the company by manufacturing parts according to drawings, maintaining raw material inventory in accordance with inventory control policies, and maintaining machinery through proper preventative maintenance. *** Are you passionate about this work?
*** Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models.
* Loading raw materials into the milling machine.
* Operating and controlling the milling machine to shape the raw material.
* Monitoring the milling machine to ensure operations are carried out to exact specifications.
* Performing regular maintenance checks on machinery.
* Setting up milling machines and adjusting their speed.
* Measuring and inspecting completed work to ensure compliance with specifications.
* Replacing dull cutting tools to maintain optimal machine performance.
* Identifying problems with the machine and carrying out necessary repairs.
* Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
* Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

*** Minimum 1 year Manufacturing experience, preferably in a Custom Machine Shop environment desired.
* Experience running Manual Mill machining equipment is preferred.
* Excellent Safety practices and mindset.
* Ability to adapt to changing priorities and to engage in multiple jobs simultaneously.
* Ability to read machine drawings/ blueprints.
* Ability to take direction and follow through with assignments as provided.
* Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and maintain good attendance.
* Must be able to work well in a team and environment.
* Ability to do your own set-ups and produce quality parts from drawings with minimal supervision.
