Production Worker

SURESTAFF is immediately hiring for Production Workers in Chicago, IL. As a Production Worker for SURESTAFF, you will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and be involved in all aspects of manufacturing operations.
Production Workers are required to perform a variety of tasks that require manual labor and use of tools, machinery, and equipment. The position entailed heavy lifting and standing on your feet the entire shift.

SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $22.05/hr as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).

Available shifts include 1st and 2nd shift- 12 hour rotating days
.

• Perform manual work such as cleaning, painting, loading, unloading, transferring and stacking materials and supplies, scrap and waste.
• Use hand truck to move materials to and from storage areas.
• Perform janitorial duties and various cleaning jobs using hand and powered equipment.
• Other general labor tasks such as but not exclusive to the following: off-line wrapping of cans, sorting pallets, EOR slides, top frames, chip boards and other packaging materials for damage.
• Keep work area clean, neat and orderly per 5S program.
• Understand and follow procedures and work instruction related to this job function.
• Recommend improvement ideas in all areas.
• Record and maintain records as required.
• Giving breaks when needed in multiple jobs
• When required covering critical vacancies
• Perform other tasks as needed

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Should be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs.
