We are currently looking for a Planner, Strategy and Digital Investment to support the day-to-day Media Planning and Strategy functions for our client. This person will assist a team in the development, execution, and stewardship of media plans for client's business and report directly to the Supervisor Strategy and Digital Investment.
Responsibilities- Responsible for contributing to the development and execution of strategic approach and tactical plans across a luxury fashion client.
- Use appropriate strategy tools to analyze, understand, and report on the fluctuating media landscape
- Create and review plans based on a brief and ensure planned metrics are accurate
- Assist in development of digital RFPs and brief vendors
- Review and verify media buys to ensure proper execution
- Collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure all media and creative campaign elements are delivered by the designated deadlines and running as planned
- Manage ongoing management of media campaigns including analyzing, negotiating, and recommending plan optimizations
- Present media plans and provide plan maintenance including objectives/strategies and updates
- Create and send insertion orders in Prisma and traffic tags
- Manage weekly pacing reports and other analytics/reporting work streams
- Own weekly pacing document and present to clients during status
- Maintain stewardship of competitive analysis and other strategic work to interpret data and draw conclusions
- Support in preparing and updating final media plan details, media flowcharts (digital, print, OOH) and budget trackers
- Collaborate and support internal teams across OOH and Social
- Attend industry rep meetings and provide written POVs to senior team members
- Contribute to billing reconciliation process and resolving invoice discrepancies with partners
- 1+ years of experience in media planning/strategy
- Agency experience highly preferred
- Preferable Computer Skills/Software Knowledge:
Microsoft Suite, Prisma, Nielsen Suite, Kantar, IMS, Flowchart Software, R/F and Optimization Software, Social Tracking tools, com Score, Mbox, MRI/GfK, GWI - Basic knowledge of all cross-channel media, with a drive for curiosity and passion for the client's business
- Demonstrate ability to learn new propriety software and processes quickly and proficiently
- Solid written and verbal skills, with ability to present to clients, maintain client correspondence and internal documentation
- Detail-oriented, good follow through, able to multi-task, and work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Meet client and internal deadlines and obligations
- Manage projects, resources, stakeholders, and participants
- Be a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems/issues
