At Hello Fresh, our mission is simple: to change the way people eat, forever. As a global digital-native FMCG company and the world's leading mealkit provider, we are transforming the traditional food supply chain through a data-driven, on-demand model that enables scalable and more sustainable food delivery. The Hello Fresh Group includes eight brands serving customers across multiple meal occasions, including Hello Fresh, Green Chef, Every Plate, and Chefs Plate, as well as ready-to-eat meals from Factor and You Foodz, meat and seafood subscriptions through Good Chop, and pet nutrition with The Pets Table.
Through technology, data, and culinary innovation, we deliver personalized food experiences to millions of households worldwide.
Hello Fresh is at a category-defining moment, and this role sits at the center of it. As we accelerate product innovation and sharpen our marketing across a portfolio of leading brands, we're looking for an insights leader who can be the customer's voice in the room where decisions get made.
What You'll Do- Own the research agenda for US product innovation, from whitespace and macro trend identification through NPD pipeline research, concept testing, and post-launch assessment
- Act as a strategic copilot to GMs, Product Managers, and Marketing leads, helping translate business objectives into sharp research questions and actionable insights
- Partner across Product, Culinary, and Marketing to understand cross-functional context and ensure insights reflect the full customer picture
- Design creative, right-sized research approaches that balance quality and speed
- Synthesize across data sources, primary research, behavioral data, competitive signals, and deliver recommendations, not just findings
- Champion the consumer voice in executive presentations and cross-functional reviews, with clear storytelling that earns a seat at the table
- Customer-obsessed, not just research-savvy. You think of customers as human beings, not respondents. You're curious about their lives and can help us see our products through their eyes.
- Analytical with a "so what" instinct. You move fluidly between qualitative and quantitative data, find the signal in the noise, and lead with the implication, not just the finding.
- A confident communicator at every level. You can run a working session with a product team in the morning and present to senior leadership in the afternoon. You write and speak in plain language, not research jargon.
- Strategically grounded. You understand that insights don't exist in a vacuum. You connect findings to business context, competitive dynamics, and what it means for the roadmap.
- Collaborative and direct. You build trust with stakeholders quickly, solicit hard feedback, and give it back constructively.
- Adaptable and fast. You thrive in ambiguity and know how to move quickly without sacrificing rigor. You've had to make judgment calls on methodology under a deadline, and you've been right more often than not.
- 5–7 years of experience in consumer, product, or marketing research
- Bachelors degree
- Fluency across qualitative and quantitative methods, you know when to use what and why
- Strong command of research design: you can walk a stakeholder through a methodology discussion and come out with their confidence
- A track record of turning insights into action, not just reports
- Bonus:
