Proofreader​/Part Time

A digital experience agency is seeking a Proofreader for a part-time contract engagement supporting a nationally recognized healthcare technology organization. This remote opportunity offers approximately 8-10 hours per week and focuses on reviewing customer-facing marketing content, enrollment communications, and campaign materials in preparation for a large-scale open enrollment initiative.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced editor who enjoys working at the intersection of content, design, and marketing. The selected professional will collaborate closely with creative teams, helping ensure content accuracy, consistency, readability, and adherence to brand standards during a highly visible business-critical campaign. The role offers flexibility, meaningful project work, and the chance to contribute to communications that directly impact customer experiences.

• 3+ years of proofreading, copy editing, or content review experience
• Strong command of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style guidelines
• Experience reviewing marketing, advertising, or customer-facing communications
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

• Experience supporting healthcare, insurance, or regulated industries
• Familiarity with AP Style guidelines
• Agency or marketing services experience
• Experience working alongside designers and copywriters
• Knowledge of content management and marketing workflows

• Proofread and edit marketing materials, enrollment communications, and customer-facing content
• Ensure consistency with established brand, legal, and style guidelines
• Partner with copywriters, designers, and project teams throughout review cycles
• Identify grammatical, formatting, spelling, and content inconsistencies
• Support quality assurance efforts before publication and distribution
