Senior Google Ads Strategist; Client-Facing

MVR Digital is hiring a Senior Google Ads Strategist to own Google strategy and execution for a premium DTC brand. You will be in Google Ads daily, and you will also set the strategy and defend it on client calls.

Your mission is to run 1 client account spending $500k+ a month in Google spend, so that performance moves toward target without leadership in the daily details. In your first year:

• By month 4, 80% or more of your accounts are green against their monthly goals
• Zero client-seen launch errors each quarter, including feed and Merchant Center issues
• Every test closes with a written verdict in the change log
• By month 3, fewer than 2 media questions a month reach leadership from your client

• Own Google strategy and daily execution across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, and You Tube
• Manage $500K+ per month in Google spend against MER, ROAS, and CPA targets
• Own Merchant Center and feed health end to end. Diagnose disapprovals, feed gaps, and Shopify sync issues yourself, and use supplemental feeds and custom labels to steer spend
• Structure PMax with intent: asset groups, exclusions, signal inputs, new customer acquisition settings, and a clear read on what is working inside it
• Hold a real position on branded spend and incrementality, and walk a client through it
• Support Meta, Tik Tok, [CTV,] and other channels where they affect your accounts, and hold a point of view on cross-channel allocation
• Lead the Google portion of client calls. Explain performance clearly, bring a recommendation, and push back when a request will not serve the client

• 4+ years of hands-on Google Ads at an agency or high-growth brand
• Deep Search, Shopping, and Performance Max expertise, plus Merchant Center and feed troubleshooting
• Personally owned $250K+ monthly Google budgets with documented efficiency gains
• DTC or e-commerce ownership. Premium or luxury AOV experience is a strong differentiator
• Working Meta knowledge. Not depth, but enough to speak to it credibly
• GA4, Looker Studio, Shopify, and attribution fluency
• Fluent, confident English and strong client communication. This role is client-facing
• Comfortable managing accounts in a fast-moving remote environment
