Business Development Coordinator; Special Projects) *Hybrid

Our client is looking for a Business Development Coordinator to support firmwide and cross-team initiatives. Instead of supporting a single practice group, you'll move between teams as priorities shift.

Location: Chicago, IL (3 days in-office, 2 remote)
Pay: $34-$41/hourly

Duties:

• Firmwide project management: Run marketing and business development initiatives from kickoff to launch, such as pitch template refreshes, bio and practice description overhauls, and website content projects.
• Business development technology and AI adoption: Help roll out and drive use of tools like Foundation (experience management), Qorus Docs (pitch automation) and AI tools. Support testing, data cleanup, user guides and attorney training.
• Process improvement: Find and fix inefficiencies in team workflows, including intake, templates, pitch libraries and reporting.
• Reporting and analysis: Pull and analyze data for firmwide reporting, such as referral outcomes, event ROI and pitch activity. Turn findings into clear recommendations for Business Development leadership.
• Events: Coordinate firmwide and cross-practice events, webinars, sponsor ships and receptions, from planning and vendors through day‑of execution and follow‑up.
• Content and collateral: Keep marketing collateral, bios, practice descriptions, deal and case lists, and website content current and consistent across the firm.
• Communications: Draft and coordinate press releases, newsletters, social posts and internal announcements.

Must-Haves

• 3-5 years of experience in marketing, business development or communications
• Strong project management skills, including handling several initiatives at once, spotting obstacles early and seeing projects through
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power Point

Nice-to-Haves

• Law firm or professional services experience
• Experience in or marketing to real estate, construction, transportation or logistics
• Familiarity with Foundation, Qorus Docs and AI tools
• Bachelor's degree
