General Purpose of Job:

Betty is looking for a Social Strategy Director who doesn't just understand social—but understands how brands earn relevance within it. This role is for a strategic thinker who believes social is far more than a marketing channel. It's where culture is shaped, communities are built, conversations begin and brands have the opportunity to become part of people's lives. You understand that the best social strategies aren't driven by trends alone—they're rooted in human behavior, cultural insight and platform fluency.

You'll partner with strategy, creative, account and analytics teams to develop modern social strategies that inspire stronger ideas, smarter content ecosystems and more meaningful brand participation. Whether you're shaping a new business pitch, developing an always-on social playbook or uncovering insights through social listening, you'll bring clarity, curiosity and creative ambition to every engagement. As Betty continues to expand its social offering, you'll help define what that practice looks like—building frameworks, methodologies and strategic points of view that position Betty as a modern social partner for ambitious brands.

Key Responsibilities:

Build Modern Social Strategy:
Lead the development of social-first strategies rooted in audience behavior, cultural intelligence and platform dynamics. Create strategic roadmaps that connect business objectives with content, creators, communities and commerce.

Turn Insights Into Opportunity:
Leverage social listening, audience research, platform analytics and cultural signals to uncover insights that inspire ideas people want to engage with—not simply scroll past.

Inspire Better Creative:
Partner closely with creative teams to ensure ideas are native to the platforms where they live. Bring clear strategic direction that helps transform insights into culturally relevant work across Tik Tok, Instagram, You Tube, Linked In, Reddit and emerging channels.

Shape Betty's Social Offering:
Help define and evolve Betty's social practice by creating repeatable strategic frameworks, playbooks, thought leadership and proprietary approaches that strengthen our agency offering.

Lead Clients With Confidence:
Facilitate workshops, strategic planning sessions and executive presentations that simplify complexity, build trust and inspire action. Help clients see Betty as a strategic social partner—not simply a content resource.

Fuel New Business Growth:
Play an active role in agency pitches and growth opportunities by bringing differentiated thinking, compelling narratives and strategic recommendations that demonstrate how brands can win in today's social landscape.

Connect Strategy Across Disciplines:
Collaborate with creative, media, analytics, production, influencer and Quad partner teams to ensure social strategies integrate seamlessly across the broader customer experience.

Champion Modern Social Thinking:
Stay ahead of platform evolution, creator behavior, emerging technologies and cultural shifts. Bring fresh perspectives that keep Betty—and our clients—ahead of what's next.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Experience:

8–10+ years of experience in social strategy, digital strategy, integrated planning or cultural strategy…
