The Position

We are seeking a Product Marketing Specialist, Wealth Management who knows the wealth management technology ecosystem and understands how financial advisors and investment professionals use data, research, and technology.

Reporting to the Sr. Product Marketing Manager, you will sit at the intersection of Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success, driving go
-to
-market planning and execution for assigned YCharts products and capabilities.

You will partner with Product Managers from early discovery through launch and adoption, bringing a strong understanding of our customers, their workflows, the market, and our competitive landscape.

We are looking for someone who can answer the bigger questions: who is this for? What problem are we solving? Why does it matter? How are we different? And how do we make that value immediately clear?

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive go- to
-market planning and execution for assigned products and capabilities, including positioning, messaging, launch planning, enablement, and post- launch optimization.
  • Partner with Product Managers throughout the development lifecycle to understand customer problems, use cases, target audiences, differentiation, and business value.
  • Translate sophisticated investment data and product capabilities into clear, compelling value for financial advisors, RIAs, wealth managers, and asset managers.
  • Develop messaging frameworks, product collateral, presentations, competitive resources, FAQs, and customer facing launch communications.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the wealth management technology landscape, including competitors, market trends, advisor workflows, and evolving customer needs.
  • Gather customer feedback, use cases, and competitive intelligence and translate those insights into recommendations for Product and go to market teams.
  • Manage multiple launches and priorities while creating clarity around timelines, dependencies, deliverables and measures of success.
Qualifications & Experience
  • 3-5+ years of product marketing or closely related go- to- market experience, including direct experience within wealth management technology, investment technology, financial data and analytics, advisor technology or a closely comparable platform.
  • Direct familiarity with financial advisors, RIAs, wealth managers, asset managers, or investment professionals and the workflows and technology that supports them.
  • Working knowledge of investment concepts and vehicles including equities, ETFs, mutual funds, portfolios, benchmarks, and market and investment data.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting or driving product launches from positioning and planning through enablement, execution, and post- launch assessment.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills with the ability to translate sophisticated financial or technical concepts into clear customer value.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, develop a point of view, strong competitive and market research skills with ability to turn insights into recommendations.
You’ll thrive in this position if you:

You know this industry well enough to have a point of view and are curious enough to keep learning. You can talk with a Product Manager about investment data, listen to a customer describe a workflow, recognize where a sales message is missing, and turn those insights into positioning that is simple, differentiated and compelling. Great product marketing is not about describing a feature, it is about understanding the customer, the market, and the problem and making the value of the solution unmistakably clear.
