Community Manager

We're seeking a culturally fluent Community Manager with experience supporting large, recognizable consumer brands. The ideal candidate has exceptional written and verbal communication skills, strong Instagram and Tik Tok expertise, and a passion for social media trends and audience engagement. This role focuses on building brand love, managing high-volume social communities, and identifying cultural opportunities. Agency experience is highly preferred but not required.

• Manage daily community engagement across Instagram, Tik Tok, and other social platforms for major consumer-facing brands.
• Respond to comments, mentions, conversations, and user-generated content (UGC) while maintaining a consistent and authentic brand voice.
• Monitor high-volume social conversations and identify emerging trends, viral moments, and culturally relevant opportunities.
• Build meaningful connections with audiences to strengthen brand affinity, engagement, and community loyalty.
• Identify relevant creators, influencers, and emerging tastemakers for potential brand collaborations.
• Conduct social listening and translate audience conversations into actionable recommendations.
• Proactively flag potential brand issues, sensitive conversations, and real-time engagement opportunities.
• Collaborate with social strategists, creative teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate engagement trackers, documentation, and reporting.
• Demonstrate excellent judgment, responsiveness, and communication in a fast-paced environment.

• 2–4 years of hands-on social media community management experience.
• Experience supporting large, recognizable consumer brands with significant social followings and active communities.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to adapt messaging to different brand voices.
• Strong hands-on experience with Instagram/Meta and Tik Tok community engagement.
• Experience personally managing comments, mentions, audience interactions, and high volumes of UGC.
• Strong understanding of social media trends, internet culture, emerging creators, and consumer engagement.
• Experience with social listening, community monitoring, and identifying relevant brand opportunities.
• Excellent judgment, attention to detail, organizational skills, and proactive communication.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Availability to work EST business hours.

• Agency experience, particularly within social media, creative, digital marketing, or PR agencies supporting major consumer accounts.
• Experience with nationally recognized retail, fashion, beauty, lifestyle, home, or other consumer brands.
• Familiarity with social media management and listening tools such as Sprinklr, Sprout Social, Khoros, Hootsuite, or Archive.
• Experience with Reddit, Threads, and You Tube Shorts.
• Experience identifying influencers, creators, and culturally relevant engagement opportunities.
• Ability to translate community insights into broader social media recommendations.

• An excellent verbal and written communicator who can confidently represent major brands.
• Understands how to build authentic brand communities rather than simply provide customer service.
• Proactive, resourceful, detail-oriented, and comfortable speaking up.

• Brings creativity, personality, and enthusiasm to daily community engagement.
