Description:
  • The Coordinator of Events, Media Outreach Promoter and Bulletin Editor reports primarily to the Pastor and Operations Director. Supports and assists the Pastor in developing and organizing Events and Outreach Ministries for the parish, along with the creation of the bulletin. This includes using Evangelization efforts to invite and encourage members of the community to become more engaged in ministry as well as inviting the unengaged to participate more fully in the parish.
  • This position also includes overseeing current volunteer groups as well as creating new outreach efforts both at the parish and in the community. The Coordinator of Events, Outreach and Bulletin Editor ensures that all formation and events are consistent with the parish’s mission, goals and values are executed in a manner that is compliant with parish and Archdiocesan policies and procedures.

    All responsibilities are to be performed in a spirit of Christian service overall.
Requirements:
  • Have the necessary training, education and background in evangelization and outreach efforts.
  • Prior experience in evangelization is preferred.
  • Experience organizing and executing events.
  • Must be an effective communicator and team player.
  • Ability to schedule, prioritize and produce work in a timely manner.
  • Initiative and self‑direction.
  • High level of discretion and integrity.
  • Able to work at regular evening and weekends when necessary.
  • Passionate disciple of Jesus Christ who is a practicing Catholic.
  • Understanding, respect and support of the Catholic Church’s teaching, mission and values, including the Church’s social teaching.
  • Associate’s Degree in media creation, marketing experience.
  • Preferred:
    Bachelor’s Degree media creation.
  • 3 years of experience in publishing designing and/or Outreach.
Experience:
  • Preferred:
    Church experience with outreach ministries.
Skills Required:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong computer skills, specifically Word, Outlook, Excel, Canva and PowerPoint. Excellent verbal, written and multi‑tasking skills.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills with emphasis on detail and accuracy.
  • Spanish and English speaker and writer.
