Role DescriptionThis is a Temp to Hire on‑site role located in North Lawndale, IL, for a Youth Program Director. The Youth Program Director will oversee the planning, development, and implementation of youth‑focused programs, ensuring they align with the organization’s mission. Responsibilities include managing program activities, evaluating outcomes, mentoring youth, and fostering communication between participants, families, and community partners. The role requires strong leadership and organizational skills to ensure program objectives are met efficiently.
This 6–8 month project offers a grant‑based salary of $27–$33 per hour.
- Experience in Youth Programs and Youth Development
- Proficiency in Program Management and Program Development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with youth, families, and community partners
- Effective leadership and project coordination skills
- Ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of a diverse community and work on‑site
- Background in education or social services is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred but not required
