By The Hand is a not-for-profit, religious organization. Individuals employed at By The Hand are working in ministerial roles and perform all or some of the following responsibilities: sharing the Gospel, teaching chapel, leading Bible studies, discipling students, and modeling behavior that is consistent with Christ’s teaching.

Rate of Pay: $50,000 - $60,000 per year

The Grants & Strategic Partnerships Manager is an integral member of the Fund Development department and supports the Strategic Engagement team s strategies, priorities, and goals. This role will assist with the administrative duties of our grant work, including collaborating with external writers, conducting research, drafting requests, and managing funded opportunities. They will help manage the grant process from start to finish and ensure that high-quality grant LOIs, proposals, and reports are completed in a timely fashion.

This person will create and manage the grant calendar and will work with finance to oversee the implementation of grant budgets.

The Grants & Strategic Partnership Manager will also work to develop a pipeline of new opportunities with corporations and foundations. They will be responsible for researching new funding sources and will maintain a portfolio of prospects or lapsed donors, cultivating relationships.

Working with the Senior Vice President of Strategic Engagement, the Grants & Strategic Partnership Manager will ensure proper engagement for all grantor opportunities and work to identify new prospects. This position reports to the Senior Vice President of Strategic Engagement.

• Has a personal and saving relationship with Jesus Christ, evidenced by a lifestyle that demonstrates the Word of God, and is in regular fellowship with other members in a Bible-believing church.
• Agrees with the By The Hand Club Doctrinal Statement and adheres to the Employee Biblical Standards of Living.
• Shows by example, the importance of Scripture memorization, Bible study, prayer, witnessing, and Christian fellowship.
• Participates in weekly team prayer.
• Has completed an evangelism course and is trained and prepared to share the gospel with anyone who inquires.
• Works with staff and members of the EOS Leadership Team to monitor and enforce policies and procedures to further BTH’s religious purpose and freedom.

• Performs in a way that is consistent with the vision, mission, and culture of By The Hand and commits to excellence in every aspect of the overall operation.
• Models cultural values of By The Hand Club For Kids in day-to-day behavior.
• Follows all policies as outlined in the operational guide, including maintaining brand standards and ensuring 100% adherence to the Child Protection Policy.
• Participates in employee growth plans, including quarterly conversations and annual review meetings.
• Works with the Strategic Engagement team to meet team fundraising goals and focus efforts around operational fundraising.
