As a member of the Office for Parish Renewal, the Senior Coordinator for Renewal Resources (SCRR) advances the call to Spiritual Renewal within the Archdiocese of Chicago through focus on workshops, trainings, and cohort support for parish leaders. Supported by the Senior Manager for Renewal Resources, and in collaboration with the broader Office for Parish Renewal, the SCRR serves as a key resource, facilitator and mentor for efforts in the specific areas of evangelization, hospitality, and adult discipleship in parish communities.
DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Serves as a direct resource to parishes in fostering evangelization, hospitality, and adult discipleship efforts
- Co-develops and facilitates workshops, trainings, and cohort gatherings tailored to the Spanish-speaking community, while ensuring alignment with the Archdiocesan vision for spiritual renewal.
- Collaborates, with the Senior Manager, on the creation and implementation of an engagement plan in the areas of evangelization, hospitality, and adult discipleship for parish leaders engaging in the spiritual renewal journey.
- Co-develops and facilitates renewal workshops as an opening touchpoint to application of spiritual renewal principles.
- Provides a calendar of trainings and cohort gatherings for invited parish leaders and teams focused on evangelization, hospitality, and adult discipleship.
- Leads the scheduling and formation of facilitators for trainings and cohorts that engage leaders and teams on the spiritual renewal journey.
- Establishes accompaniment relationships with parish leaders through cohort gatherings in the areas of evangelization, hospitality, and adult discipleship.
2. Works as a member of the Office for Parish Renewal team to implement large-scale office initiatives, which could include special events, centralized trainings, and presentations.
3. Provides input and direction about the development and implementation of spiritual renewal efforts and the necessary resources for the support of parish leaders.

- 3+ years of ministry experience, preferably at the parish level
- Bilingual, with cultural fluency in both English and Spanish
- Understanding and support for Catholic Church teaching, mission, and values
- Good listener with curiosity and openness to learn from others
- Excellent communicator – written, verbal, interpersonal, and as a presenter
- Able to facilitate and conduct open dialogue with groups
- Ability to relate at multiple ecclesial levels: parish, deanery, vicariate, Archdiocesan and departmental
- Can work individually and as a member of a collaborative team
- Organized and creative with the ability to adapt to change and be flexible
- Strong decision-making skills and demonstrable good judgment
- Excellent project management skills with proven ability to implement successful programs
- Microsoft Office skills, including working knowledge of Teams, Word and PowerPoint programs
- Masters-level degree in theology or pastoral ministry

This position has an salary range of $58,662.00 - $73,328.00. An employee’s pay within the salary range will be based on many factors including but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
