Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises nursing assistants to ensure high-quality care in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

$38.00/hr - $41.00/hr

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct nursing care to residents and supervises nursing assistants to ensure high-quality care. Key responsibilities include planning and overseeing daily nursing activities, administering medications, completing required documentation, and maintaining patient confidentiality.

• Perform all functions under your active license as it pertains to your assigned duties.
• Know the residents you serve, providing care based on their care plans and physician orders.
• Prepare & administer medications as ordered by the physician.
• Develop & maintain a good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel.
• Assist in all aspects of a resident’s daily life, including activities of daily living, meal service, and social engagement.
• Appropriately communicate with clinical leadership when a resident’s needs change.
• Know how to approach and care for residents with dementia.
• Be willing to take on other duties and assignments within the scope of your knowledge and experience.

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a current unencumbered state license.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing & medical practices & procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.
• Willing to take additional training or education, which specific states may require.
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required.
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable while handling multiple priorities.
• Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication.
• Competent in organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Required to sit, stand, bend, and walk intermittently throughout the workday; lift and/or move up to 100.
• Must be able to cope with the mental & emotional stress of the position.
• May include health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility.
• May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
• Visual and auditory ability sufficient for written and verbal communication.
• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
