Advanced Practice Nurse

Actively pursues required knowledge and skills for professional development. Identifies and participates in quality assurance issues on the unit. Acts as a resource for clinical skills to staff on or off the unit. Designs patient education programs that include information required to make informed health care and treatment decisions.

* Occupational risk for exposure to infectious material and communicable diseases.

* Use of personal protective equipment.
