Job Summary
This Staff RN role provides support to Perianesthesia patients in the Surgery department Pre/Post areas. Rotation between pre-op and PACU with on-call rotation of about 1x/week. We are open to 8 or 10hr shifts starting from 6a-8a Monday - Friday with only on-call Holiday rotation. Provides and coordinates patient care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care.
Related Qualifications- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
- Associate in Nursing;
Bachelors preferred. - Current IL State RN licensure and CPR Certification
- Team and customer service skills
- Computer skills - windows and database systems
- Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills
- ACLS, PALS, EKG monitoring, arrhythmia interpretation, airway and ventilator management as required per department
